James Timberlake is a principal of the Philadelphia-based architecture firm Kieran Timberlake, winners of the 2010 Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award and the American Institute of Architects’ National Firm Award in 2008. The firm recently won the competition to design the new Embassy of the United States in London.
In 2008, they designed a prefabricated house for a landmark housing exhibition at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Leaders in sustainable architecture, they were one of 13 architectural firms commissioned by Brad Pitt in 2007 to develop designs for affordable homes in New Orleans for his Make It Right Foundation.
