The Centre is proud to be able to host Dr Gill Matthewson who will discuss her research and work with Parlour.
Wednesday June 4, 6pm @ Massey University
‘The Pit’ – Block 12
Pukeahu / Mt Cook Campus
Wellington

The Architectural Centre, in Association with the College of Creative Arts, Massey University, is very please to be able to host this public lecture to celebrate Dr Gill Matthewson’s return to Aotearoa.
In 2012-13 Gill Matthewson completed a huge survey of Australian architects. From this data she has mapped the impacts of gender on architectural careers with implications for understanding similar patterns here in Aotearoa. Her numerous findings will help us understand structural and cultural conditions that effect career pathways within architecture.
Gill will discuss this research in the context of her own architectural career in practice and academia, here and abroad.
Free parking is available for this event in any Massey University carpark (entrances from Tasman and Wallace Streets) – please avoid using the Wellington High School carpark.
