WELLINGTON CIVIC TRUST: NOTICE OF 2024/25 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – WEDNESDAY 16th APRIL
The Wellington Civic Trust’s 2024/25 AGM will be held on Wednesday 16th April from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm NZST. The venue will be the Te Puni room in the Wharewaka Function Centre, 2 Taranaki Street, Taranaki Wharf on the Wellington waterfront. The meeting will commence with refreshments, following by the AGM at 6:00 PM.

Koha will be welcome to cover the cost of the venue and refreshments.
A major topic of the AGM will be the Trust’s leadership of the campaign to save the City to Sea Bridge. Our keynote speaker will be Tim Smith, the Trust’s Barrister taking the case, a Judicial Review Hearing against the City Council. The hearing, a public hearing, is in the High Court on April 28 and 29.
Council decided in December to remove the Bridge and to start demolition in January. We stopped them but we need funds to cover the cost of the legal action. I’ve enclosed details of several ways to donate to this important cause.
