The Awkward Debates – June series of public debates about Architectural issues.

13th June : New Zealand Prisons – Is the bar too low ?


20th June : Aboriginal Communities–Ghetto or shanty towns ?

27th June : Christchurch – Rabbits in the headlights ?

All three debates will be held in Lecture Theatre LT1, School of Architecture,Vivian St, Wellington.
They will start at 6pm and end at 8pm.
The format will be a 30 minute talk by Mark Roberts about his work in the last five years since leaving the School of Architecture followed by a response from an invited speaker with an interest in the subject.
There will then be about an hour of open debate.
About 10 motions will be proposed during the evening & a vote taken & counted before the end.
