Coach Trip to Pencarrow Lighthouse – New Zealand Historic Places Trust
When: Saturday 26 Feb (postponement day for wet weather, 27 Jan)

Duration: 3-4 hours
Price/Cost: $25pp
$15 for children 5yrs-15yrs
Free for children under 5yrs
(if not taking up a seat on the bus)

Meet at: Two meeting points to meeting for the coach –
11am – outside Antrim House, 63 Boulcott Street, Wellington
Or 11.30 across the road from the Petone Settlers Museum
Have lunch at the lighthouse, then return to the same places for drop-off at around 2pm/2.30pm
Followed by an optional trip around Antrim House

Bring: Back pack, waterproof jacket, strong boots or walking shoes, picnic lunch, 1 litre of water, sunscreen, hat

Notes: Good Fitness Required, as there is a 15 minute walk up a steep hill up to the lighthouse from the drop-off point – Max 55 people – Staff from NZ Historic Places Trust, plus Paul Cummack from Athfields (an expert in the care of lighthouses) will be there to talk to you about the lighthouse
