There will be a screening of films of NZ 1940s architecture at the NZ Film Archive on the evening of Thursday 4th December. In addition, on Saturday 6th there will be a Docomomo(NZ) meeting organised by Julia Gatley. This is a book about New Zealand Modern architecture, edited by Julia Gatley: and we have invited authors, architects, builders, clients, owners and occupants of buildings featured to this book launch, as well as other individuals who are interested in architecture. The book launch will be followed by ‘Foster on Foster’ a panel discussion by three Wellington architects who have worked at London-based architects Foster and Partners, chaired by Angela Foster, of Foster Architects, which you are also very welcome to come along to.
