Shigeru Ban will be appearing in Wellington, for one evening lecture only, on the 16th September. The Japan Foundation have kindly sponsored Ban’s visit, and we recommend you RSVP asap to ensure that your seat can be reserved for this talk.

Ban has become well known throughout the world in architectural circles for his innovative work involving construction materials that are often not thought of - in short, he uses paper and cardboard to create spaces, having first used these materials to propose earthquake survivor housing. Ban has taken the use of cardboard a long way from its fragile origins. RSVP to Tane Moleta - refer to the poster. This event WILL book out - act now.
